Introduction to IT - Course
Course Purpose
IT (Information Technology) is a vast and rapidly growing area of knowledge that affects most facets of the modern world. Thousands are attracted to IT and would like to know more about it. However, for many it can be an extremely expensive subject to study. A 21 day course can cost well over £2,000.
Also, what many do not realize is that there are different areas of IT requiring very different skills and talents e.g. programming (soft ware) or application (hard ware). A person could spend a lot of money only to find that he or she has wasted one or more years studying an area of IT that they are not really suited to.
Completing this introduction to IT course will enable a person to consider which area of IT would best suit his/her abilities and temperament, without first committing vast resources to an expensive and pressurized study programme.
The Introduction to IT course will also better prepare a person who may decide to study IT up to a qualification level, by giving a student a good grounding in IT terminology. A certificate of pass is awarded on completion.
